JAMMU, Dec 24: JK Montessorie School (JKMS) celebrated its highly anticipated Annual Day for classes 5 to 10, marking another milestone in the school’s journey of excellence.
The event was graced by Arvind Gupta, MLA West Constituency, as the chief guest, and Ashwani Khajuria, Director of Hospitality and Protocol, Convention Centre, as the guest of honour. Other dignitaries in attendance included Chairman Sanjeev Mahajan, Director Rajni Gupta, Dean Academics Apurv Gupta, Mandal President BJP Keshav Chopra, Ex-Corporator Neelam Nargotra, and various school Principals.
The program began with a formal welcome note by School Coordinator Sutinder Kour, who highlighted the school’s remarkable achievements in academics, co-curricular activities, and community-building initiatives. The celebration also honoured students for their academic excellence in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 sessions.
The school recognized distinguished alumni, including Annie Vaid and Pallvi Verma for qualifying the prestigious JKAS examination, Chirag Kotwal for securing the 2nd runner-up position in Indian Idol, and Harshit Kohli for representing India in fencing at the Commonwealth Games in New Zealand.
Gupta praised the school for its continuous excellence and emphasized the importance of students dreaming big, working hard, and staying committed to their goals. He encouraged the students to be future leaders and make meaningful contributions to society.
