SRINAGAR, May 18: One person died and two were injured in various road mishaps across Kashmir valley today.
A police spokesman said here that a Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number JK05D-5823 was hit by an unknown Taveera vehicle at Lawaypora, Parimpora in Srinagar. In this accident the motor cyclist Jan Mohammad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar and pillion rider Mohammad Ramzan Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Mir residents of Ladoora Rafiabad were injured. Both the injured were shifted to Noora Hospital for treatment where Mohammad Ramzan Mir succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard.
Police said a Scooty bearing registration number JK03D/5035 hit and injured a pedestrian Aadil Ahmad Matoo son of Nisar resident of Bulbul Nowgam at Brakpora in district Anantnag. He was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, police said a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05/8224 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Ayoub Zargar son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Tikker at Tikker in district Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
