UDHAMPUR, May 20: A motorcyclist died after his bike was hit by a tipper near Green Bar Dhar Road, late last night.
The deceased was identified as Ashish Gupta (24) son of Munshi Ram Gupta of Styani Udhampur.
The accident took place when a tipper bearing registration number JK14C-3453 hit the motorcycle JK14B-2261. Police shifted the injured District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu in view of his critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to Jammu.
Meanwhile Udhampur Police seized the tipper and registered a case in this connection.
