REASI, May 20: State-Level Inter-District Kho-Kho Tournament for Under-14 girls commenced here today at the Girls Higher Secondary School, Reasi.
About 400 students drawn from 17 districts of the State are participating in the championship being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Earlier, the championship was declared open by Additional Superintendent of Police, Reasi Sanjay S Rana.
The chief guest emphasized the importance of sports for the students. He said sports and studies should go side by side to keep youth mentally and physically fit.
