JAMMU, Jan 12: In the Chillai Kallan Premier League 2025, Safran CC secured a hard-fought victory over Mahadev CC at the Country Cricket Stadium. Safran CC won the toss and chose to bat first, posting a challenging total. Rohit Sharma led the charge with an impressive 55 off 39 balls, supported by Arun Panotra (18), Sarthak Khoda (17), and Lakshya (16). Mahadev CC’s bowlers Manoj and Ranjeet claimed two wickets each, while Guri Sharma took one.
In reply, Mahadev CC’s chase was stifled by Safran CC’s disciplined bowling attack. Sandeep Kohli top-scored with 22 runs, while Dilshant and Gushi made valuable contributions with 16 runs each. Safran CC’s bowlers dominated, with Sarthak Khoda taking 4 wickets, followed by Rohit Sharma with 3, Agastya with 2, and Saqib with 1. Safran CC ultimately clinched the win, and Rohit Sharma was named Man of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.
