Poonch boys emerge winners in U-17 kabaddi

DODA, May 23: District Poonch lifted Under-17 Boys Kabaddi Championship, thrashing district Kathua by 6 points in the final, while district Jammu claimed the third place by beating Rajouri.
The tournament was organized under the patronage of Navin Agarwal Director General Youth Services and Sports and under the overall supervision of S R Kotwal, DYSSO Doda.
In closing ceremony District Development Commissioner Doda, Mubarak Singh was the chief guest and SSP Doda, M S Chouhan was the guest of honour.
The chief guest distributed the trophies and medals among the winners and runner-up teams on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Bharat Bushan, Ifroz Ahmed, Mohinder Singh, Anjum Riaz, Permod Thakur and Dara Singh.
