JAMMU, May 24: Government College of Education, MA Road, Srinagar organized its Annual College Road Race for men and women, here today.
For men’s section, the Race started from Nehru Park to Nishat Gate at 6:30 am and for women section, the Race began from Chamashai crossing to Nishat Gate at 6:45 am.
Around 150 students participated in the event in-spite of cold conditions.
Prof B A Bhat and Prof Gurmeet Kour spoke on the occasion.
The Race was organized by the Department of Physical Education of the College headed by Mohammad Ayub, Physical Director.
The first three positions in men’s section went to Shakeel Ahmed, Shabir Ahmed and Javaid Ahmed respectively, while the first three positions in women’s section were bagged by Asiya, Thinlas and Yasira respectively.
