KATRA, May 25: Shiv Kumar Sharma, president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association along with members of the Association honoured Padamshree wrestler Yogeshwar Datt, bronze medalist London Olympics 2012 and Arjun Awardee wrestler, Ravinder Singh, Commonwealth gold medalist 2010 and Asiad bronze medalist 2010 in an impressive function, here today. Both the wrestlers are Deputy Superintendents in Haryana Police.
Both the young wrestlers were presented Mata Ki Chunni as a mark of appreciation and pride alongwith photograph of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
Dhyan Chand Awardee and Bharat Kesari NIS wrestling coach, Anil Maan at present serving as National Wrestling team as coach, Bharat Kesari NIS Wrestling Coach, Narinder Singh and Bharat Kesari wrestler, Narinder Punia of Chattershal Stadium Delhi accompanied the International wrestlers during this visit and stayed at Hotel Basera Katra.
Among others present on the occasion were Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Raj Kumar Padha, Ramnik Nowada, Deepak Wazir, R S Manhas, Naresh Kesar, Rakesh Dubey, Rajinder Mengi, Amit Rahi, Raman Kumar, Deepi Pandit, Virender Kesar, Jawaher Lal Debey, Shanker Dass and Murli Dhar (Munna).
