SECC discusses demands of I/C lecturers, + 2 lecturers

KATHUA, May 27: School Education Co-ordiantion Committee (SECC) held a meeting to discuss the issue of Incharge Headmasters and 10+2 Lecturers under the chairmnanship of Amar Nath Thakur, here today.
In the meeting all the incharge officers demanded the regularization and seniority benefit to all drop out I/C lecturers in all subjects who were senior in the eligibility list of 2011 but ignored during regularization of I/C lecturers in March 2013.
Speakers said that their juniors have been regularised and some of them have been given the senior lecturer grade. They said this injustice and joke with them which is unacceptable. One of the speaker demanded that all Incharge Lecturers and Headmasters should be cleared by convening the Department Promotion Committee at the earliest by the Commissioner/ Secretary, School Education Department. Lecturers demanded running grade to Plus two Lecturers equivalent to College Lecturers.
All participants appreciated the decision of the State Cabinet to scrap the new recruitment policy which was opposed by the unemployed youth and creation of 208 posts under RMSA for organisational set up at State and district levels. The speakers also sought the adjustment of recent propmoted lecturers and DPC of PG masters, teachers in the remaining steams so that posts of lecturers as per promotion quota may be filled.
Those who spoke on the occasion were P P Singh, Surjit Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Netar Singh, Kali Dass, Ravi Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Hem Raj, Tara Mani, Pawan Sharma, Randhir Singh, Bodh Raj, Tara Sharma and Ashoni Sharma.
