KATHUA, May 27: Keeping a tight vigil over illegal drug intoxicants, Kathua police today arrested three persons from Dream Land road, and recovered 31 grams of smack from them.
As per police, on the specific inputs about smack carriers, police team from Kathua Police Station laid a naka near Dream Land road area and intercepted the persons namely Rajiv Gupta, son of Shiv Kumar Gupta of Ward No 8, Sahil Gupta son of Jagdish Gupta of Ward No 2 and Vikrant Mahajan son of Ajay Mahajan of Ward No 9 and recovered smack which was brought from Punjab.
According to Mohan Lal, SSP Kathua, the accused were arrested and booked under NDPS Act at Kathua Police Station and investigation started.
