Jr Wing Heritage Project at KC concludes

JAMMU, May 31: After a series of activities on Heritage Project under the British Council’s ISA Programme, children of Junior Wing of KC Public School concluded the Project with a brief cultural show at the Ram Chand Mahajan Open Air Theatre, here.
Parents of nearly 100 children involved in the show thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
The show consisted of 4 well rehearsed items on the cultural heritage of India and Palestine since a School in that country is a global partner of KC Public School.
Class 3rd students presented two Indian Classic tales namely Dhruv and Prahalad, exhibiting tremendous confidence in the enactment of lives of these legendary characters.
Class 5th students presented a well choreographed ‘Dabka’ while the students of Class 4th showcased their talent by dancing vigorously to the tunes of a Scottish Ballet recommended by the British Council for mass participation as a curtain raiser to the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland.
Dr Thakur, Director of the School and Amarendra Mishra, Principal of the School were present on the occasion.
