JAMMU, May 31: A 17 days summer workshop on Dance/Music/ Art and Craft/ Swimming/ Yoga and PT which began on 15th May concluded here today at Air Force Station Auditorium.
The occasion was graced by the chief guest Air Commodore P E Patange YSM VM Air officer Commanding Air Force Station Jammu and Mamta Patange President AFWWA (L). Flt Lt Sunaina Chahar, Executive Director Air Force School was also present on the occasion.
Vikesh Sandhal, Principal Air Force School in his address stressed that children’s life and activities at school must be linked to their life outside the school. Such workshops are conducted so that children can generate new knowledge and surface hidden potentialities.
The workshop aimed to provide a happy and engaging experience to children by teaching them to make various types of paintings, making useful things and toys from waste material, basic dance forms.
Certificates and gifts were distributed among the students by the chief guest at the end of the ceremony.
