JAMMU, June 2: In an extremely competitive Inter-House Volleyball Tournament amongst the senior students of Banyan International School, the boys of Akanksha House battled with Abhilasha House in the finals and eked out a 9-15 15-13, 16-14 victory to claim the trophy.
After falling behind, Nikhil, Pratyush, Amrit Pal, Jagmeet, Rishi, Gurjeet, Mukeshwar, Akashdeep, Akshay and Rahat held on to their nerves to first even the score and then take the decider in a gruelling rubber set.
This Inter-House Tournament launches the preparations for the Inter-School Volleyball Tournament that Banyan International School plans to host in August this year.
