Theatre Camp for Children beginning from June 10

JAMMU, June 4: Jammu’s most sought after summer attraction for children ‘Theatre Camp for Children’ is beginning from of June 10 at Natrang Studio Theatre, here.
This was informed here today by Natrang Director Balwant Thakur while addressing media persons.
He said that workshop would be conducted by Sumeet Sharma who is Masters in Dramatics and Aarushi Thakur who is a post graduate from University of Leister U K with specialized training in Dramatics from Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London.
A major children’s play will be mounted during this workshop besides the other activities which will hone the talents of children.
Giving details about this ambitious theatre happening in the town Balwant Thakur said that there is going to be a 40 day training programmes for children between the age group of 7 to 14 years. Top experts and professionals in the field will impart training on personality development, public speaking, memory development, confidence gain, infusing creativity through the latest developed techniques of Oxford Summer School (UK). The visiting faculty will include trained experts of National School of Drama and Indian Theatre Department, Chandigarh.
Balwant Thakur further informed that Natrang takes the heat off the city and brings a fresh breeze of creativity by launching its much awaited 40 days Summer camp from 10 of May 2014.
