JAMMU, Mar 17: Sprawling Buds ICSE School, a leading institution under Takshila Educational Trust, made a generous donation of Rs 1 lakh to the Louis Braille Memorial Residential School for Sightless Girls, located in Roop Nagar. This donation aims to enhance the educational resources and facilities for visually impaired girls, helping to empower and include them in society.
The cheque was presented during a heartfelt assembly at the school by Arti Sharma, Chairperson of Sprawling Buds ICSE School and Rahul Sharma, President of Takshila Educational Trust. The donation was graciously received by Prof. Kusum Lata Malik, President of the Federation of the Blind, along with Aparajitha Arora and Mohinder Kumar, on behalf of the school. Ram Dass Dubey, President of the Confederation of Physical Challenged Organization, was also present to witness the occasion.
Arti Sharma highlighted the school’s commitment to producing not only academically proficient students but also socially responsible citizens. Rahul Sharma emphasized the importance of supporting institutions for specially-abled children to foster an inclusive society. Prof. Kusum Lata Malik expressed gratitude, stating the donation would significantly enhance the resources at the school.
