JAMMU, June 11: Kalidhar Brigade, under the aegis of the Crossed Swords Division, organized an Educational-cum-Motivational Tour for the students of Dori Dager area to Delhi and Jaipur.
The Tour was flagged off by Commander Kalidhar Brigade in an impressive function at Dori Dager today.
2 teachers and 23 students are visiting various places of interest in Delhi and Jaipur.
The Tour has been organized to give the children an opportunity to explore the vast diversity of our country, interact with the people of those areas and build bridges of friendship.
The organizers believe that the Tour will provide a wide exposure to children who never had the opportunity to go out of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sudershan Singh, a school teacher, who is accompanying the students, said “This endeavour of the Indian Army has brought smiles to the faces of the children and this would be a great opportunity for them towards becoming responsible citizens of the country”.
With great sense of anticipation and excitement, Master Vikas Sharma, one of the participants said “We have only read about the places in the books and now with the help of Indian Army we are getting an opportunity to visit these places and see the beauty of Incredible India”.
