NGAGA meets DAJ, highlights issues

JAMMU, June 17: A delegation of Non-Gazetted Agriculture Graduates Association (NGAGA) led by its president Pradeep Sharma met Director Agriculture Jammu (DAJ) Dr SS Jamwal.
The delegation besides suggesting the curative and preventive measures for strengthening of department and agriculture extension services brought into notice of DAJ the problem of long term stagnation among all the cadres in general and JAEO in particular.
The delegation also demanded to remove the pay anomalies in initial grade of JAEO.
The delegation further said to improvise and equipped with more technical knowledge more number of JAEO should be deputed to acquire high qualification (MSc Agriculture), so that they serve the farming committee in better ways.
Among others present were Ashwani Sharma, vice president, Pardeep Anand, Parveen Singh, Ashok Kumar and Jatinder Singh.
