JAMMU, June 17: One person was held alongwith 100 grams of ganja from Marjali area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gharota police station.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Gharota police station laid a naka at Marjali and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under mysterious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 100 grams of ganja and arrested the accused, who have been identified as Tavari Krash, son of Sohan Lal of Akhal Sara, Chhattisgarh, at present Marjali.
A case under FIR number 31/14 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Gharota and investigation started.
