Indian wrestlers win 19 medals in Asian Cadet Ch’ships

NEW DELHI, July 10:
Indian wrestlers won 19 medals, including five gold, in the Asian Cadet Championships held at Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan.
Besides the five gold, Indian wrestlers also won four silver and 10 bronze medals in the Championships held from July 5-8.
The medal winners:
Gold: Mangal Kadyan (46kg freestyle); Vikas (58kg freestyle), Dinesh Kumar (69kg freestyle), Ravinder 58kg freestyle), Prema Huchannavar (38kg women’s freestyle).
Silver: Parveen (85kg freestyle), Sanjay (100kg freestyle), Amit Dilip Gadhe (100kg freestyle), Payal (40kg women’s freestyle).
Bronze: Vikas (50kg women’s freestyle), Manjeet (54kg women’s freestyle), Dada Riba (46kg Greco-Roman), Ajay Kumar (69kg Greco-Roman), Amit (76kg Greco-Roman), Parveen Kumar (85kg Greco-Roman), Monika (46kg women’s freestyle), Ravita (49kg women’s freestyle), Reshma Anil Mane (60kg women’s freestyle), Babita Rani (65kg women’s freestyle).
