UDHAMPUR, June 21: District Police Udhampur today organized a closing ceremony of T20 Cricket Tournament which was being played at Subash Stadium Udhampur under Civic Action Programme 2014, here. The final match was played between Chandail Cricket Club and UCC Udhampur.
After winning the toss by UCC, decided to bat first and set a target of 102 runs in 20 overs which was achieved by Chandail Cricket Club in just 15 overs for the loss the of 4 wickets.
Khalid of Chandail Cricket Club Udhampur was declared as man of the match and best batsman of the Tournament, Aquib of Young Blood Cricket Club declared as best bowler, Gopal Singh of National Cricket Club was declared as the winner of longest sixer award of the Tournament.
Khalil Ahmed Poswal Addl. SP Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion and among other prominent citizens who were present on the occasion were Mohd Aslam Bhat Dy. SP DAR DPL Udhampur, Vikram Slathia, Naresh Anthal, Sanjay Sharma, Rajesh Vidhyarthi and Mahesh Sharma.
