JAMMU, June 21: Summer Camp for children conducted by Sharda Sangeet Sadan concluded on World Music Day, here today.
The workshop was another chapter in the yearly endeavour to bring young students of the region in touch with the musical cultural heritage of our country.
The workshop focused on shlokas, songs, poems, yoga, dance and drawing under the guidance of Aashima Mahajan and Praguni Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, organizer Satyabhama Dubey said that modern societal pressures hamper the overall development of children as they are caught into a web of school and homework from a very young age, adding that such workshops are designed to free their shackles and relieve them from pressure so that they can do their learning with fun.
