JAMMU, June 22: Tourism Department organized a cultural programme at Patnitop.
On the occasion, Dr VK Midha from Gurgaon, Haryana was the chief guest, while Irfan Ahmed, SHO Patnitop and Babli, Incharge Tourist Police were the guest of honours.
On the occasion, dance, skit, standup comedy and singing items were presented by the artist of Nav Durga Kala Manch, which was appreciated by the audience especially the tourists with thundering applause.
Dilshad Shazi left the audience spell bound by his mesmerizing performance and comedy skills while Rohit Kumar shined in the dance category.
The whole show was judged by Shipra Sakeen and Hemant Sakeen and in the end Dilshad Shazi and Rohit Kumar were awarded by cash prizes for their spell bound performances.
The chief guest in his speech applauded the efforts of Tourism Department for conducting cultural evening. He added that this kind of shows will really boost the tourism by the State.
The programme was coordinated by Mohan Lal Koul, Tourist Officer from Tourism Department, who also presented vote of thanks in the end.
The anchoring of the programme was done by Shashi Bhushan.
