Establishing link with downtrodden Govt’s top most priority: Vikar

RAMBAN, June 22: Minister of State for Technical Education and Power, Vikar Rasool Wani today addressed a public meeting at Pogal Banihal.
A huge gathering from all walks of life in addition to the PRI representatives of the area were present on the occasion.
While addressing the public, he informed that the top most priority of the present Government has been to establish a link between the people living in far flung areas and the Government. He said that due attention has been given towards the infrastructure development of far flung areas of the state including the hilly areas of his constituency.
Enumerating various development activities, the Minister said that a large number of hamlets in his constituency which were devoid of electricity during the past decades like Neel, Ukhral and Mahu Mangith were electrified during this tenure of the Government. He told that huge infrastructural gap in education and health sector has been filled up during this period under the leadership of Chief Minister.
He said that the priority of the present Government has been the overall development of the downtrodden sections of society so that their economical and educational status can be uplifted to the established standards of best societies of the world. He said that the Government is working hard and providing every kind of help to the needy persons under different centrally and state sponsored schemes and other flagship programmes of social welfare, Health and Rural Development.
In addition a large number of candidates from these far flung areas have been sent to various skill development institutes outside the state for acquiring better techniques regarding various employment generating trades so that they can earn their livelihood respectfully at their own places.
The Minister announced an ambulance for the benefit of the people out of his CDF fund and said that the work for the construction of Food Store will commence very soon.
