SRINAGAR, June 25: A meeting of the Committee on Estimates of Legislative Assembly was held under the chairmanship of MLA, S. S. Slathia.
M.Y Tarigami, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Indu Pawar, Ashwani Kumar, Abdul Gaffar Sofi, Er. Abdul Rashid, Nasir Aslam Wani and Ravinder Kumar attended the meeting and discussed in detail the functioning of Power Development Department (PDD).
A threadbare discussion was held on various issues including early renovation and repairs of damaged transformers.
Earlier, the Principal Secretary, PDD, A. K. Mehta briefed the Committee about the achievements of the department.
The Committee stressed for immediate repairs of damaged transformers.
Among others, Secretary Legislative Assembly, M. Ramzan, Managing Director, JKSPDC, Mehraj Ahmed Kakroo, Chief engineers of PDD of different wings and other officers were present in the meeting.
