Kathua, June 26: School Education Employers Co-ordination Committee Province Jammu held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur provincial president SEECC in which hundreds of I/C lecturers and headmaster participated. The meeting urged Chief Minister and Dy. Chief Minister who is Minister for School Educ-ation also to regularize all the joint directors, CEO’s principals, ZEO’s lecturers and headmasters. Thakur in his address said that more than 3000 I/C officers in the Education Department are without regularization since long. He also demanded that all seniors who were not regularized as lecturers on 07-03-2013 in spite of the fact that they were seniors in the eligibility list of 2011 may be regularized and given the seniority and monetary benefit from the date their juniors have been given. This is injustice and unnecessary harassment which cannot be tolerated.
He said that State Chairman SEECC and president Employees Joint Consultative Committee president Ab. Qayoom Wani has already taken up the regularization issued with the Minister during the meeting held on 3rd of June 2014 and hoped that Chief Minister will surely consider this genuine and long pending demand. He said that in the light of Supreme Court directions in the case of Suraj Parkash Gupta And General Adminis-tration Department Order No. 743 GAD of 2007 at 28-06-2007 has directed all the Administrative Department to regularize all I/c officers through regular DPC. He said that School Education Department vide SR0 481 dt 30-12-2010 should have conducted the regular DPC for the regularization of I/c officers but no DPC meeting has been conducted as a result more than 3000 I/c officers are waiting for their regularization.
All officers said that they are optimistic that chief minister will regularize them at the earliest. A delegation of Jammu province SEECC will also proceed Srinagar to take the issue with all concerned authorities.
