RAMBAN, June 28: Minister of State for Technical Education and Power, Vikar Rasool Wani today inaugurated a foot bridge and laid foundation stone of additional accommodation for Government High School Chanjloo Devgole Banihal.
He said that bridge on Chanjloo Nallah will act as a main connecting link between the two parts of the village. The 30 Mtr span foot bridge has been completed at a cost of Rs. 45.42 lakh by R&B Department.
Later, the Minister laid the foundation stone for additional block of High School Chanjloo Devgole. The construction of the block will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 39.81 lakh under Rashtriya Madhayamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA).
After laying the foundation stone, the Minister said that the present Government has kept the education and health sector on top priority and during last five years a lot of infrastructure has been developed in these sectors.
