Machail Mata yatra arrangements reviewed

KISHTWAR, July 11 : Arrangements regarding upcoming annual Machail Mata yatra to the sapphire valley Padder were reviewed at a joint meeting of District Officers and Management Committee of Mata Chandi here today at Kishtwar. The District Development Commissioner Saleem Mohammad presided the meeting.
It  was revealed that the Machail Mata yatra will commence from August  1, 2012 while as the Holy Chari Mubarak will reach Kishtwar on   August 18, 2012  and leave  from Kishtwar to Paddar on   August 19, 2012.
Various issues regarding security, medicare, drinking water, transportation and accommodation facilities for yatries, besides  construction of temporary shelters and latrins enroute to the holy shrine Machail, were also discussed at the meeting.
S P Bhem Sen Tuti, Assistant Commissioner Revenue R. K. Shavan, Assistant Commissioner Development CO, CRPF, Tehsildar Kishtwar/Padder   also participated in the meeting.
