JAMMU, JuIy 2: The Air Force Station Jammu organised a lecture on Road Safety for school children to enhance awareness on among children and followed by a drawing competition on Road Safety.
A Large numbers of School children participated in the event enthusiastically. Children expressed their imagination and knowledge on Road Safety by drawing beautiful posters conveying the message of Road Safety. A lecture was delivered by Sunil Cannie, Inspector, RTO, Jammu.
A motor cycle rally was also organised across Jammu city as a part of Road Safety Week celebrations. The expedition was flagged-off by Air Cmde PE Patange YSM VM, Air Officer Commanding. The motor cycle rally was led by Air Cmde Patange himself. A very large number of Air warriors participated enthusiastically in rally. The route covered almost all the main places of Jammu.
Addressing the participants and the spectators after the culmination of the rally, Air Cmde Patange congratulated the participants for successful completion of rally and exhorted them to take part in more and more such adventure activities.
