NH Cricket Academy wins in U-14 cricket series

JAMMU, July 2: Defeating Christian Sports Organization by 19 runs in the second match, NH Cricket Academy XI leveled the Under-14 boys three matches series (1-1), being organized at Alexander Memorial High School  here today.
The series is being organized jointly by the Christian Sports Organization and J and K Police, under the overall supervision of Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Trophy player and president of Christian Sports Organization.
Earlier, due to inclement whether conditions, the number of overs was reduced and the match was played 8 overs a side.
NH Cricket Academy XI, batting first, scored 53 in 8 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Max Gill top scored with 17 runs, Nikhal contributed 11 runs for the team. Ivan was the wrecker-in-chief for CSO XI, who took 2 wickets.
In reply, CSO managed only 34 runs in the allotted overs, thus lost the match by 19 runs. Ronit top scored with 12 runs. For NH Academy, Nikhal took 2 wickets, while Heaven and Ravi claimed one wicket each.
The match was officiated by Ajay Mattoo and Pawan Mooman while the scorer was Gavin.
Rajesh Gill was the chief guest on the occasion who interacted with players of both the teams. He was accompanied by David Mattoo, manager CSO.
