JAMMU, July 17: Two days Sub-Regional Social Science Exhibition hosted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota concluded today.
Nineteen schools from 3 clusters of KVS Jammu region—Udhampur, Jammu and Akhnoor participated in various events like debate (English and Hindi), quiz, skit, group dance and display of exhibits.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Brigadier DS Tripathi, VMC Chairman by lighting the lamp in presence of staff members and participants.
Principal KC Nagrota RK Shukla presented the welcome address and threw light on the importance for organizing the exhibition.
During the exhibition, the students participated in various activities with full zeal and enthusiasm and left the audience spell bound. The exhibits reflected the creative skills of the participants.
In the valedictory function, prizes were distributed among the winners and certificates were presented to the participants.
In the end, Vice Principal of the institution Bimla Pandit presented vote of thanks.
