JAMMU, July 18: In a written statement to Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, MP, former Union Minister and president J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, the Union Minister for Human Resources Development, has informed that HRD Ministry has decided to upgrade Kendriya Vidyalaya Uri to include Classes 11th and 12th in it.
She has also said that Uri is only School affiliated to CBSE in the district and will bring opportunities for the local students to a avail quality education up to the Higher Secondary stage.
Prof. Soz has requested the Minister to institute a survey and identify the children of down trodden sections of the Society in J&K for grant of Special Scholar Scheme, especially for the students living on the borders in J&K State.
