JAMMU, July 21: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu reviewed the progress on four laning of Jammu-Udhampur Section and status of Toll Plazas in a meeting convened here today.
It was informed that 54 kms work on Jammu-Udhampur four-laning has been completed and the remaining work approximately on 10 kms is in full swing. The meeting was also apprised that work on 5 kms four-laning stretch upto Nandni is in progress and would be completed before ending October.
The Divisional Commissioner Jammu also discussed the present status of Toll Plazas at Thandi Khui and near Nagrota. He was apprised by representative of NHAI that the work on Toll Plaza near Nagrota has been completed with all modern and high-tech systems.
Divisional Commissioner stressed upon the NHAI functionaries to gear up the pace of work of 4-Laning of National Highway for the timely completion of the same.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Inspector General of Police Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu, SSP Traffic, other senior officers of various departments.
