Absconder nabbed by Udhampur police after 38 yrs

UDHAMPUR, July 24: Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past around four decades.
As per police sources, based on reliable inputs, police team from Udhampur police station arrested an absconder, who was at large since 1975.
The accused has been identified as Janak Singh, son of late Lena Singh of Omarha Morh, district Udhampur, presently residing in RS Pura, Jammu.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 223/1975 under Section 279 of RPC with police station Udhampur.
Police team headed by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Gourav Mahajan and SSP Udhampur Mohammad Suleman.
