JAMMU, July 30: Kullian police arrested two motorcyclists along with five kilograms of poppy straw.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Kullian police post laid a naka and intercepted two persons riding on a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered five kilograms of poppy straw and arrested both the motorcyclists.
The accused have been identified as Yashpal, son of Dhyan Chand, resident of Shamkey, RS Pura and Raj Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Simbal Morh.
A case under FIR number 96/14 under Section 8/15 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
Police team headed by Incharge, Kullian Police Post ASI Gurmeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh and SP Headquarters Randhir Singh.
