JAMMU, July 31: Adarsh Cricket Club defeated Friends Cricket Club by 3 wickets to advance in the ongoing Akhnoor Tehsil T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club at Government Higher Secondary School ground, here today.
Earlier, put into bat, FCC scored a modest total of 121 runs in 19.4 overs. Amit Singh and Aman Singh were the main contributors with 32 and 26 runs to the total respectively. For Adarsh Cricket Club, Anshuman scalped 4 wickets, while Sunny Sharma and Sahil Pawar took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Adarsh CC chased the target in 19.3 overs by losing 7 wickets, thus won the match by 3 wickets.
Bunty, Sahil Mishra and Sahil Pawar scored 30, 28 and 26 runs to the total respectively. For FCC, Vicky and Amit took 2 wickets each, while Anil and Binny claimed one wicket each. Sahil Pawar was adjudged man of the match.
The match was officiated by Dayal Singh and Vikas Bali as umpires, while Vinod Kumar was the scorer.
