JAMMU, Aug 4: High Court today stayed the order of Directorate of Health Services whereby license of JK Medicity Hospital was suspended.
The stay was granted in a petition filed by Gaganpreet Singh, Managing Director JK Medicity Hospital Pvt Ltd challenging the order dated July 27, 2014.
After hearing Senior Advocates PN Raina and Sunil Sethi with Advocates J A Hamal appearing for the petitioner, Justice Tashi Rabstan issued notice to Chief Secretary and Director Health Services Jammu. Senior AAG Gagan Basotra accepted notices and sought week’s time to file response in the petition.
“Subject to objections from the other side and till next date before the Bench, order impugned dated July 27, 2014 shall remain stayed”, High Court directed. Justice Rabstan also directed Director Health Services to constitute a committee within two days from today, which shall file its report within a week’s time. Thereafter, Director Health services shall file compliance before the court on the next date of hearing.
