JAMMU, Aug 5: Bahu Fort police arrested an absconder from tehsil Katra, who was evading his arrest for the past over 13 years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a police team from Bahu Fort police station arrested an absconder namely Mahadev Singh alias Mangi, son of Kuldeep Singh of Panthel, tehsil Katra, district Reasi from Katra.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered with Bahu Fort Police Station under FIR number 39/2001 under Section 379 RPC.
The accused was produced in the court of law.
Police team headed by SHO Bahu Fort Police Station Inspector Chanchal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq and SP South Rahul Malik.
