POONCH, Aug 5: Goods worth over Rs 1.21 crore were traded at Chakkan-da-Bagh cross LoC point in district Poonch today.
Official sources said that 25 trucks loaded with bananas, chilies and ‘Jeera’ were sent to PoK by the traders from this side today via Chakkan-da-Bagh. The value of goods was put at around Rs 1.09 crore. Only one truck goods including almonds and dry dates worth Rs 21 lakh, arrived here from the PoK side. The officials from both the sides facilitated the exchange of goods at the cross LoC point.
