RAJOURI, Aug 6: A villager died after a large timber log fell on him in Budhal area of district Rajouri this afternoon.
Reports said the mishap took place when one Mohd Latief, son of Ali Mohd, resident of Lakhi Pargain in Budhal area had gone to Androchi Dhok on the higher reaches. He was carrying a huge log of timber on his shoulder. He slipped down and the timber log fell on him, hitting his head with great force. He died on the spot. Later, his body was shifted to Budhal by other workers engaged in felling trees.
