JAMMU, Aug 8: Arnia police arrested a bootlegger along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police team from Arnia police station conducted a raid in the house of Kala Ram, son of Janak Raj of Devigarh, Sai, Arnia.
During raid, police team recovered 12 pouches and 5 bottles of illicit liquor and arrested Kala Ram.
A case under FIR number 42/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Arnia and investigation started.
Police team headed by SHO Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh and SP Headquarters Randhir Singh.
