Bhaderwah, July 16: Bhaderwah Football Club defeated Masood Football Club Bhaderwah in the final and won the Gulam Rasool Azad Memorial Football Tournament here today.
The Gulam Rasool Azad Memorial Football Tournament 2011-2012 was organised at Government Degree College Bhaderwah concluded here today .
Javed Azad Chairman of the Foot Ball association Bhaderwah welcomed the participating teams from all around Bhaderwah constituency . He emphasised the importance of playing the game with the true spirit of sportsmanship.The one week tournament commenced with the knockout matches and culminated today by distribution of mementos by Chief guest DDC Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan, guest of honor ASP Roop Raj and SHO Surinder Rao. The first match was played between teams from APS Udhampur and Srinagar and was won by APS Srinagar. Final match today was played between Masood Bhaderwah and Bhaderwah Football club which was later won by Bhaderwah Football Club. DDC Doda who was the Chief Guest on the occasion complimented both the teams for their wonderful display of team work and commitment and presented them the medals and trophies.
