JAMMU, Aug 16: A new political party, Jammu Kashmir People’s Party (Secular), was launched on the eve of 68th Independence Day.
Launching the party Sushant Bakshi, president of JKPP (S) stated that party has been launched with only one mission that is to serve the people of J&K. He said that current political system of the State has failed to address the basic issues of the people like electricity, water and Roads and on the other hand corruption is at its peak, which has forced us to launch a new party and providing the people of the State a new political alternative.
On the occasion, JKPP (S) also launched party website, www.jkpp.in, which will allow the people of J&K to become the part of movement. Anybody above 18 years of age with valid voter ID card number can become the member of the party by filling the online membership form on the party website, Bakshi said.
