RAJOURI, Aug 17: Thousands of devotees today thronged the shrine of Sufi saint Sain Wali Dad to participate in annual Urs at Bhathian in Thanamandi area of Rajouri today.
Reports said during annual Urs at Dargah, the people not only from Rajouri district but also from parts of Poonch and Kashmir valley take part in this religious function. MLA Shabir Khan and former MP Ch Talib Hussain also visited the shrine besides senior leader Master Tasaduq Hussain.
The pilgrims and people of the area expressed strong resentment and raised slogans against PMGSY authorities as nearly 8 kms road to Bhathian has been abandoned by the R&B authorities and people have to face hardships to reach the shrine. They also took up the matter with the MLA who assured to take up the issue with the R&B Minister.
