Sir,
Gone are the days when books reading was considered as the best leisure. Now, the book reading is rare in this modern age of Science and Technology. With the advent of latest gadgets, habit of book reading has faded almost in all age groups, particularly in younger lot. The young generation is seen busy with their cellphones, Laptops. Use of these gadgets is indeed the need of hour but it has adverse impact on health too. In 70s and 80s, we used to read the holy scriptures like Ramayana and Mahabharata and other members used to listen with interest.
Need of the hour is to inculcate the habit of books reading in our young generation to develop reading and writing skill in them.
