SRINAGAR, Aug 23: Police Headquarters (PHQ) today issued promotion orders of 37 officers in Ministerial Executive Cadre in Jammu and Kashmir Police with immediate effect.
Seventeen Sub-Inspectors have been promoted as Inspectors, 18 Assistant Sub-Inspectors as Sub-Inspectors and 02 SGCT as Head Constables.
The Sub-Inspectors promoted as Inspectors are Mushtaq Ahmad, Trilok Singh, Sajad Hussain Mehboobi, Gh. Nabi Khan, Girdari Lal, Manzoor Ahmad Tak, Sunil Kumar Dhar, Mohammad Feroz Ashok Kumar, Feroza Akhtar, Nissar Ahmed, Mohammad Aslam , Siraj-Ud-Din, Ab.Hamid Shiekh, Mohammad Shafi Shah, Mohammad Shafi and Mohammad Rafi.
Similarly, the ASIs promoted as Sub Inspectors are Mohammad Ashraf, Mushtaq Ahmed. Abdul Rashid Dar, Gh. Mohammad, Suman Latta,Ghulam Hassan, Mohammad Amin Dar, Ms. Shashi Tikoo, Kastori Lal, Harish Kumar, Mohammad Amin, Yasmeena Jan, Vidya Sagar, Mohinder Singh, Suman Kotwal, Mushtaq Hussain, Ashok Kumar and Bishamber Dass.
Likewise, the SGCT promoted as Head Constables are Adbdul Hamid and Showkat Ahmad.
Further, the DGP ordered 62 in-situ promotions in favour of officers of Prosecuting Wing and one DYSP(Retd).
