KPC terms Obama’s statement on Kashmir encouraging

NEW DELHI, July 17: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has also welcomed the recent statement of the U.S. President, Barrack Obama that India and Pakistan would have to bilaterally resolve the Kashmir Issue and U.S.A would not impose any solution on them.
Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief while addressing a  meeting here today said that Kashmir was never any dispute as it’s accession with India is full and final. He said it was Pakistan and it’s agents in the Kashmir who were deliberately exploiting this issue for their selfish interests. He further said that accession of Kashmir was accepted and acknowledged by the people of the Kashmir in general under the leadership of late Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah.
He said the statement of U.S. President is an eye opener and indicator that no power of the world could separate Kashmir from India and at the same time it is message for Government.of India to stop deliberations and discussions over this issue with separatists forces.
Kashmiri asked separatists leaders of the valley to close their political shops, join the Indian main stream and allow to prevail peace and have prosperity and development in this state.
Commenting over the statement of Dr. Mustafa Kamal NC leader who lambasted Ali Shah Geelani for his unwanted statements, Kashmiri stated that recent statement of Dr. Kamal was justified and positive but at the same time NC leadership should also avoid and stop to give radical orientation to the ongoing secessionist movement in the valley.
