SRINAGAR, Aug 25: A deaf and dumb person slipped and fell from a slab in Ompora Housing colony, Budgam and died after the fall.
He has been identified Ali Mohammad, aged 58, son of Ghulam Ahmed of Chankhana, Sopore and was living in Housing Colony Ompora in the house of Farooq Ahmed Malik at Ompora. He was shifted to District Hospital, Budgam for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
A police spokesman said police has started investigation in this regard under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death.
