Sir,
I had applied for Voter Id cards and Inclusion of my children in the Voter list for casting our vote during the recently held parliamentary elections. But it is may be mentioned here that till date I had not received my Voter Id card nor children have been included in the Voter list. It is quite disgusting that the authorities concerned everytime ask us to go through the same process of obtaining the forms and submitting the same to the concerned authorities. This not only wastes the time of public but is also wastage of valuable paper work.
In the recent past I had been called by staff of Adhar Card authorities for preparation of Adhar Card. I went there and they took only 10 minutes and obtained figure prints and other details through computers and issued acknowledgement slip on the spot.
I suggest Election Commission of Jammu and Kashmir to adopt the same procedures so that public in general can be benefitted and details of individual can be displayed correctly and on fast track. This may save valuable time of the public and will benefit the ex-chequer also.
Yours etc…..
