JAMMU, Aug 27: One day token protest was organized today by Agriculture Technocrats against the delay in publication of their regularization list.
A large number of Rehbr-e-Ziraat (ReZs) from different parts of Jammu Division assembled at Press Club here under the leadership of Dr Surinder Radotra, State president of the Association and staged a protest demonstration.
While addressing the protesting ReZs, Surinder said that State Govt is on discriminating path towards the ReZs of Jammu division as regularization list of Kashmir Division had been published on June 23, 2014 while the list of Jammu Division has not been published till date.
He said the Cabinet decision was to regularize 881 ReZs in one phase with effect from April 1, 2014, then why the list of only 440 was published.
The Association condemned discriminating approach of the Government and warned the State Government of dire consequences if it failed to regularize and implement the Cabinet Decision soon.
