JAMMU, Aug 29: Rajinder Kumar of HSS Marh won gold medal in 200 mts race, while Vishal Singh of HSS Pargwal and Hitash Singh of MHAC Nagbani claimed silver and bronze in this event of the District Level Inter- School Athletic Meet Under-19 boys at MA Stadium, here today.
The competitions are being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as part of Annual Calendar of Activities, under the patronage of Navin Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports and under the supervision of Ved Parkash, Deputy Director Jammu and Sukhdev Raj DYSSO Jammu.
Earlier, in 400 mtrs Under-19 boys, Probjot Singh of SRML, Saba Hussain of GHSS Ploura and Sahil Rakwal of MHAC Nagbani claimed gold, silver and bronze medal respectively.
The 1500 mtr gold went to Yashpal Tinku, while Rajan Gupta of DBN and Ghar Singh of HSS Domana clinched silver and bronze respectively.
In Tripple Jump, Vivasvan Sawhney of DBN, Sanjay Gupta of BSF School and Sahil of MHAC Nagbani bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Javelin Throw, Irfan Kohli clinched gold, while Rajan Gupta of DBN School bagged silver and Ghar Singh of HSS Domana claimed bronze.
